Pial Kanti Shil, a young visionary from Maheshkhali, Cox’s Bazar, is using music as a powerful tool to bring positive change in the lives of underprivileged children. With a passion for music rooted in his childhood, Pial’s journey took shape when he moved to Cox’s Bazar city and joined the volunteer-driven “YASID Music Team.”
As a dedicated social worker and musician, Pial offers free musical training, especially in flute, to children lacking creative resources. His initiative goes beyond teaching instruments; it focuses on boosting self-esteem, emotional well-being, and social growth among marginalized youth.
Pial serves as a lead volunteer for “P3 Music International,” an international music education platform. His belief in music as a means of healing and transformation drives his mission to build a better future for children through rhythm and melody.
His original flute-based project, “Tune of Unity”, recently debuted with a composition titled “Song of Harmony” on the Song for One Peace YouTube channel, earning widespread appreciation for its uplifting message.
“This effort is not just helping children learn music,” says Pial, “it’s enhancing their focus, emotional health, and bringing lasting change to their lives.”
Pial’s work is now resonating far beyond Cox’s Bazar—his flute is a source of melody and a symbol of hope and inspiration for an entire generation.
