The golden sands and rolling blue waves of Laboni Beach in Cox’s Bazar have a way of washing away life’s weariness. A serene day spotted a young boy engrossed in his little world. His name—Jawad Mahtab Roni, a 10th-grade student from Cumilla Modern High School.

With a small teacup in hand, he was carefully molding the sand, lost in creative joy. He smiled and said, “I’m building a palace! Every time I come here, I make something like this. It’s so much fun!”

While most tourists strolled along the beach, Roni found his pocket of happiness—a kingdom of his imagination. The simple act of shaping sand into a grand palace transported him to another realm, his innocent enthusiasm blending seamlessly with his creation.

Happiness doesn’t always need grandeur. Simple joys like playing with sand and embracing nature can sometimes paint life in the most vibrant colors.
