As the final month of the Bangla calendar brings rising temperatures, nature continues to offer a refreshing spectacle along the Marine Drive in Cox’s Bazar. The vibrant blooms of Bougainvillea, or Bagan bilash, have become a striking attraction for tourists.

Clusters of colorful bougainvillea flowers draped over roadside trees and vines sway gently in the breeze, creating a visually captivating atmosphere.

Despite the heat, both local and foreign tourists are gathering to enjoy the natural beauty. Many pause to take photographs, while others sit and take in the serene surroundings.

Asif, a tourist visiting the Marine Drive, said that although the heat is intense, the beauty of the blooming flowers is refreshing. “The sight of the flowers swaying in the breeze is truly delightful,” he said.

Habib, a local visitor, noted that every year during this season, the bougainvillea transforms the Marine Drive into a colorful landscape, making it a special attraction for tourists.

Amid the seasonal heat, the vibrant touch of nature has brought a sense of calm to the Marine Drive, continuing to captivate visitors arriving in Cox’s Bazar.
