As the dry season reduces water levels in rivers and canals, waterbirds—including cormorants—are busy hunting small fish in the shallows. At Reju Khal, birds can be seen diving repeatedly into the shrinking waters in search of prey. With the water level dropping, various small marine fish have become more visible in the exposed wetlands, turning the area into a lively feeding ground for birds throughout the day.
