Cox’s Bazar International University organized its Fall Semester orientation program for newly admitted students on September 4 at the university auditorium.

The two-part event began with guidance sessions led by Registrar Rajidul Haque and Assistant Proctor Tausif Ahmed, who briefed students on academic responsibilities and university regulations.

Faculty members and officials also addressed the freshers, who were welcomed with flowers.

In the second session, the university’s founder and chairman, Lion Mohammad Mujibur Rahman, attended as the chief guest.

He said the university had undergone significant changes over the past year, including recruiting skilled faculty and international MoUs.

“We are working to establish a permanent campus and aim to ensure no graduate remains unemployed,” he told the newcomers, urging them to focus on fulfilling their parents’ dreams and self-reliance.

The program was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Touhid Hossain Chowdhury, with several academic and community leaders attending as special guests. The event concluded with each student receiving three saplings.
