Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police Pralay Chisim has reviewed the 14th Armed Police Battalion (APBn) ‘s annual activities. The APBn is tasked with maintaining law and order in the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar.

During his visit on Tuesday, DIG Chisim examined the unit’s annual documentation and operational performance and expressed satisfaction with its efforts.

Later, while addressing a coordination meeting, he emphasized the need for more excellent professionalism and efficiency in curbing drug trafficking, smuggling, and criminal activities within the camps. He urged APBn personnel to stay vigilant and proactive.

Additional DIG Mohammad Siraj Amin, commanding officer of the 14 APBn, Superintendent of Police Sudipto Roy, and other senior officials attended the meeting.
