A free blood group testing campaign was successfully organized today at Barabakia Adarsha High School in Pekua upazila under the initiative of Blood Box of Bangladesh.

More than 300 students and local residents participated in the event and received free blood group tests. The program ran smoothly and efficiently thanks to the presence and active support of the school’s head teacher, Mr. Azizul Haque.

Representatives from Blood Box of Bangladesh attended the event, including team leader and general secretary Shahab Uddin Sharif, assistant general secretary Abdur Rahim, organizational secretary Sajjad Sharif, assistant organizational secretary Mohammad Farid, assistant publicity secretary Mohammad Saimon, information and communication secretary Amirul Sabbir, law and human rights secretary Abu Hanif, women and children affairs secretary Shahin Akter, executive member Urmi Akter, and assistant executive members Mohammad Sakib and Iftekhar.

Speaking about the initiative, Shahab Uddin Sharif, the team leader and general secretary of Blood Box of Bangladesh, said the organization aims to regularly arrange such humanitarian and awareness programs in different upazilas of Cox’s Bazar, especially in underprivileged schools and rural areas.
