In the serene and picturesque village of Pechar Dwip, nestled beside Cox’s Bazar’s Marine Drive, it’s harvest time.
Under the gentle November sun, the fields have turned into a sea of gold as farmers stay busy from dawn until dusk harvesting, threshing, and drying their paddy.
The air is filled with the earthy aroma of freshly cut rice, and a festive spirit lingers across the fields.
Farmers say this year’s yield has been particularly excellent thanks to favorable weather conditions.
After months of hard work, smiles now brighten their faces as they finally reap the rewards of their labor.
Local farmers reported that timely rainfall has resulted in a strong harvest this season. Many rural households will experience financial relief once they safely store the paddy.
Travelers along the Marine Drive often pause for a moment to take in the enchanting view—golden paddy fields set against the deep blue of the sea, creating a breathtaking harmony of color and life unique to the coastal regions of Bangladesh.
