Along the calm riverbanks of Pechar Dwip, the sight of fishermen catching fish with traditional fishing rods (borshi) is a familiar and timeless scene. Some sit patiently, eyes fixed on the water, waiting for the slightest tug on the line, while others proudly hold their catches of various local species. The tranquil water, clusters of water hyacinths, and surrounding greenery together create a serene setting where life, nature, and livelihood flow in perfect harmony.
