Moheshkhali’s pride, Faisal Amin, has reached another milestone by earning his third degree in Australia. Local and expatriate communities have widely praised his remarkable achievement.
Faisal Amin attributes his success entirely to his parents, whose sacrifices enabled him to reach this position. Despite facing extreme financial hardship, they never compromised on their son’s future but ensured he received an education.
“My parents gave up their own comfort to send me to school. If they had forced me to work instead of studying, I wouldn’t be where I am today. All of my achievements are because of them,” Faisal Amin stated.
He expressed deep gratitude to his life mentor, Jane Irene Keogh, who he describes as a “one-woman army.” He also acknowledged the significant role of his wife, Tarzina Rima, who joined him in Australia in 2023 and brought new inspiration to his academic journey. “Without her support, completing this master’s degree would not have been possible,” he said.
Faisal Amin is working on a research degree, paving the way for his future PhD studies. He recognizes that this journey is not easy but remains determined:
“I will give my best effort and continue my pursuit of knowledge.”
