Nestled quietly beside the Matamuhuri River and hills, Nibhrito Nisorgo Park in Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar, is steadily becoming a tranquil escape for tourists seeking serenity and natural beauty.
Located just 10 kilometers east of Chakaria’s Jidda Bazar along the Cox’s Bazar highway, the park offers a refreshing blend of river, hills, and forest.
To entertain visitors, several lakes have been carved out between the hills, where small boats and kayaking facilities await adventure lovers. From 7 AM to 5 PM, boat rides on the Matamuhuri River are open to all — taking guests through winding waterways flanked by hills on both sides.
The journey through this riverine paradise offers breathtaking views of cascading waterfalls, rare wildlife, and the songs of native birds echoing through the trees. Travelers often pause in awe at the sight of the majestic white stone hills reflecting off the blue waters.
