Ocean Paradise, a star-rated hotel in Cox’s Bazar, has launched a 10-day Mediterranean Food Festival featuring more than 60 dishes from countries across the Mediterranean region and beyond.

The festival runs from October 15 to 24 and offers international dishes priced from Tk 50 to Tk 300, according to hotel authorities.

The festival was inaugurated at the hotel lobby on Thursday, October 15.

Executive Chef Mohammad Irfan Hossain said the menu included Turkish kebabs, shawarma, Arabic mezze, Syrian lamb stew, couscous, Omani shuwa, Greek-style salmon, shrimp and calamari, Italian crostata di marmellata, Tunisian kaak warka and Moroccan rice pudding, among other dishes.

He said the festival gave tourists and local food enthusiasts a chance to experience different cuisines and culinary traditions.

Ocean Paradise public relations officer Sayeed Alamgir said the initiative was designed to give tourists an extra evening activity after a day at the beach.

The food festival is open to the public from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm at the hotel lobby. The organisers have invited tourists and residents to attend during the festival period.
