The district administration initiated a preparatory meeting in Cox’s Bazar to ensure the smooth conduct of the 2025 SSC and equivalent examinations.
The meeting took place on Monday at the Shaheed ATM Jafar Alam Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office. Center secretaries from all examination centers, principals, and assistant teachers from various educational institutions participated.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin presided over the meeting. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of ensuring a fair, peaceful, and malpractice-free examination process. He urged all concerned to maintain discipline and take necessary measures to prevent irregularities.
He further instructed that examination centers should have adequate lighting, proactive measures should be taken to curb rumors of question leaks, and photocopy machines near the centers should remain shut during the exam period.
Additional Deputy Commissioners Romen Sharma, Saiduzzaman Chowdhury, and District Education Officer Golam Mostafa addressed the meeting.
Officials from the police and postal departments and other relevant stakeholders were present at the event. Discussions included key decisions such as ensuring students take their seats 30 minutes before the exam, banning electronic devices and mobile phones inside exam centers, securing uninterrupted electricity supply, addressing traffic congestion, enhancing security measures, and temporarily shutting down coaching centers during the examination period.
