The Prime Bank National School Cricket 2024-25 district phase, sponsored by Prime Bank PLC and supervised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) Game Development Committee, is set to commence in Cox’s Bazar.

Starting on February 1, the tournament will see eight teams competing at the district level. This will offer young cricketers from schools across Cox’s Bazar a platform to showcase their talent. The district final is scheduled for February 5.

Since 2015, Prime Bank has collaborated with BCB to nurture young talent and advance Bangladesh cricket. This season’s tournament involves 351 schools from 64 districts, with over 7,000 participants. Matches will progress from district-level games to divisional and national-level stages.

This initiative is a significant step in identifying and developing cricketing talent from remote areas of the country. The tournament’s Cox Bazar leg is poised to be an exciting stage for young players to shine and take their first steps toward national recognition.
