Along the sandy shores of Cox’s Bazar, fishermen haul their nets ashore, brimming with various vibrant, live fish. This daily scene on the coastline captures the tireless efforts of the local fishing community. Visitors from across the country consider this a memorable experience, not just a sight. Many tourists watch in awe and capture these moments on their smartphones to preserve cherished memories.

On Tuesday morning (January 28), a scene unfolded at Himchari along the Marine Drive. Both male and female tourists were in awe as they watched the various species of live fish emerge from the sea.

Tourists were visibly thrilled by the experience. “You can’t witness anything like this in Dhaka,” one remarked. “We came here to enjoy the sea and explore the scenic spots, but watching the fishermen at work was an unexpected delight. Capturing these moments on our phones made it all the more special. It’s truly mesmerizing, and anyone would love it.”

The fishermen, too, seemed to enjoy the interaction. “Many visitors are curious about the types of fish we catch,” one fisherman shared. “Sometimes, they even buy some fish directly from us. It’s always enjoyable to share our world with them.”
