“Rommo Shomachar” is an upcoming quarterly magazine dedicated to art, literature, and culture. It will be published by the Ramu Upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
This magazine will serve as a platform for veteran and emerging writers from the region. It aims to be released every three months during the first week of the Bengali calendar months. The magazine promises to prioritize thoughtful works, including poetry, essays, and cultural articles.
Editor and publisher Rizan Barua stated, “Ramu has long been recognized as a fertile ground for literature and culture. With this magazine, I hope to bridge the gap between seasoned and budding writers, providing a platform for creative expression. I am confident that ‘Rommo Shomachar’ will unleash the creative potential of writers within our community.”
Submissions are now open, and interested contributors can contact through 01820-316815 or rizanbarua7@gmail.com.
The inaugural issue is set to launch in the first week of February, and its official unveiling is planned for that time.
