The Cox’s Bazar sea beach is overflowing with exuberant holidaymakers this Eid, with a surge of visitors revelling in unbridled joy. According to local tourism operators, more than 400,000 tourists have visited the area over the past five days, from Eid day through today. Tourism officials anticipate the influx will continue until Saturday (June 14), with visitor numbers growing daily.
For these travellers, neither scorching sun, sudden rain showers, nor the rough sea waves could dampen their spirit. They embraced the elements, letting the rolling waves wash over them, whether under the blazing sun or drenched by passing rain.
Tuesday brought a mix of sunshine and rain, and amidst it all, the turbulent sea teemed with tens of thousands of delighted visitors. On the fourth day of the Eid holidays, the beaches were alive with boundless joy and excitement.
Every section of the Cox’s Bazar coastline saw a constant stream of tourists as the day went on. By 11 a.m., from Kolatoli Point to Laboni Point, the three-kilometre stretch of beach was dotted with more than a hundred thousand tourists. The alternating sun, rain, and cloudy skies only added to the charm of their seaside celebration.
In addition to splashing in the salty waves, visitors filled the beach with laughter and games, capturing memories in photos and playing with the sand, embracing every moment of their long-awaited holiday.
