As intense heat grips the region, tourists are flocking to Marine Drive in Cox’s Bazar in search of relief and unique experiences. Kayaking at the Reju Canal area near the Rezu Bridge has emerged as a major attraction.

From morning until afternoon, large numbers of visitors are kayaking, enjoying the blend of salty seawater and the nearby scenic green hills. Floating on small kayaks, tourists are finding both adventure and relaxation amid nature, momentarily escaping the discomfort of the heat.

A tourist named Jewel said kayaking offers not only entertainment but also mental refreshment. Another visitor noted that, despite the high temperature, paddling through the water surrounded by natural beauty was highly enjoyable.

Local business operators said the growing popularity of kayaking has increased tourist turnout even during the hot season, boosting their income.

With its combination of natural beauty, coastal breeze, and adventure activities, the kayaking spot at Reju Canal along Marine Drive is quickly becoming a standout attraction, helping sustain tourism activity despite the heat.
