The Annual Burning Crab Festival 2025 once again dazzled visitors with its spectacular food, mesmerizing music, and breathtaking art installations. However, the highlight of this year’s event was an extraordinary piece of structural art created by a group of artists from Dhaka.
Among the many unique installations, one that truly captivated the audience was the ‘Cycle Firefly’—a dynamic, pedal-powered sculpture resembling a giant firefly. Visitors could ride it by pedaling like a bicycle, bringing the artwork to life. Some festivalgoers even described it as a “moving sculpture.”
Enthusiastic tourists enjoyed the ride; some were thrilled by the experience, while others admired the innovative design in awe.
The creativity of these Dhaka-based artists not only added vibrancy to the festival but also sparked discussions beyond Bangladesh’s borders. Many believe such initiatives will pave the way for even more groundbreaking art projects.
With a perfect blend of art, music, and celebration, the Burning Crab Festival continues to be more than just an event—it’s an unforgettable experience!
