Every Friday, the premises of the Cox’s Bazar Zila Parishad come alive with a unique gathering. This domesticated bird market draws pigeon fanciers, bird lovers, farmers, and traders across the district. This informal yet vibrant market offers a variety of birds for sale, including pigeons, local and exotic chicken breeds, ducks, quails, and other pet or farm birds. Although no official announcement or fixed schedule is listed on government websites, locals report that the market runs every Friday morning until early afternoon.
