For the past 18 years, Ruhul Kader has been trading spices, tirelessly moving from one market to another in Dhaka. What began as a humble livelihood effort has grown into a stable business with a loyal customer base.
Ruhul recalls how his journey started nearly two decades ago when he relied on small, odd jobs to make ends meet. Over time, he ventured into the spice trade, which has since become his sole profession.
“Selling spices isn’t easy, but it’s highly rewarding,” Ruhul told Cox’s Bazar Life. “Every day, I bring a fresh assortment of spices to the market, ensuring quality for my customers,” he added.
His offerings include essential spices such as turmeric, cumin, and chili powder, indispensable in everyday cooking. Ruhul attributes his success to the trust he has built with his customers and his commitment to excellent service.
