A 31-member advisory council has been formed to ensure the successful organization of the five-day “Muktijuddher Bijoy Mela 2025” (Victory Fair 2025), to be held in Cox’s Bazar, marking Bangladesh’s great Victory Day on December 16.
The announcement came following a consultation meeting held on Saturday (October 29) at the Cox’s Bazar Municipality conference hall.
The meeting was presided over by Ashraful Huda Siddiqie Jamshad, Chairman of the Victory Fair 2025 organizing committee, while Convener Subimal Pal Panna moderated the event.
The advisory council comprises eminent personalities from diverse sectors, including education, law, social welfare, and culture. Among them are: educationist MM Sirajul Islam; engineer Kanan Pal; Professor Jasim Uddin; valiant freedom fighters Abdul Mabud and Abdul Monsur; Advocate Syed Alam; Advocate Sirajul Islam; Advocate Mohammad Abdullah; Rashed Mohammad Ali; Anup Barua Apu; Abu Morshed Chowdhury Khoka; Akhtar Chowdhury; Bimal Chandra De Sarkar; Advocate Nasir Uddin; Kamrul Hasan; Subhash Dhar; Jahanara Islam; Dr. Nurul Alam; Uday Shankar Pal Mithu; Syedul Haque Azad; Din Mohammad Rustam, among others.
During the meeting, members of the advisory council expressed their full support and cooperation to make the Victory Fair vibrant, inclusive, and memorable.
This year’s fair, scheduled from December 16 to 20, will feature a variety of events including liberation war commemorations, recitations, music, dance, theatre performances, and competitions in four categories.
