Among the many charms that greet visitors to the world’s longest sea beach, one stands out vividly—the sight of brightly decorated horses galloping along the sandy stretch of Cox’s Bazar.
From early morning, rows of horses can be seen waiting at Laboni, Sugandha, Kolatoli and other beach points. As soon as tourists step onto the shore, the horse owners approach with warm smiles, inviting them for a ride.
Ride a horse along the waterline, watch the sunset from the saddle, or capture moments with family and friends—these simple experiences become memorable highlights for travelers. Many say that horse riding in Cox’s Bazar feels like a “must-do activity.” The excitement of children, the enthusiasm of youths, and the joy of families breathe life into this long-standing beach tradition.
According to horse owners, hundreds of tourists enjoy rides each day during the peak season, helping stabilize their livelihoods while adding vibrancy to the local tourism-driven economy.
