When the sun goes down, Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach becomes a beautiful place to be. After sunset, a soft bluish darkness spreads across the sky, while the shimmering lights of hotels, motels, and nearby buildings add a magical charm to the shoreline.
Reflections of the illuminated Hotel Shaibal and surrounding high-rises shimmer in the shallow water along the beach, creating a mirror-like effect that adds a unique and enchanting dimension to the seafront.
Tourists, mesmerized by the scenery, gather along the sandy shore. Children immerse themselves in play, young visitors capture memorable moments on camera, and families spend a relaxed, joyful time together.
Some stroll along the beach, others pose for group photographs, while many stand still, soaking in the evening’s calm and beauty.
Rohan, a tourist visiting from Dhaka, said the evening charm of Cox’s Bazar feels distinct from its daytime beauty.
“The cool breeze, the gentle sound of the waves, and the glow of lights make this time the most enjoyable,” he said.
Tourism stakeholders believe such scenes further enhance Cox’s Bazar’s appeal as a destination and will play a positive role in strengthening the country’s tourism industry.
