Following the government-imposed 58-day fishing ban from April 15 to June 11, fishers in Dariya Nagar Fishing Village are facing difficult, uncertain days. Many remain unemployed at home, while others prepare boats, nets, and engines for a return to the sea once the restrictions end. With Eid al-Adha approaching, some fishers are seeking temporary work elsewhere. Others have set up small roadside stalls along the beach, selling fruit, pickles, and snacks to tourists to support their families during the ban period.
