Workers at the ice plants near Cox’s Bazar’s Fishery Ghat are busy meeting rising demand as fishing activity increases. With large catches coming in and more trawlers arriving at the ghat, demand for ice has surged. Workers were seen producing, loading, and supplying ice to fishing trawlers, helping preserve fresh catches before they are transported to markets nationwide.
