In 1991, Bulbul first made waves as a folk singer at Cox’s Bazar. Radio Traders produced her album Lal Sari, which quickly gained popularity and established Bulbul as a new force in regional music. Ahmed Bashir led the album’s music direction, striking a chord with listeners and paving the way for her growing influence.
Since then, Bulbul Akter has released a series of hit songs, solidifying her reputation as the “Queen of Regional Music” in South Chattogram. Her presence at events continues to create a buzz among audiences, proving that her music remains deeply cherished by the people of this region.
