After a prolonged lull due to scarce fish availability, Cox’s Bazar’s fishermen are back in action. Along the beach, they can be seen mending fishing nets, repairing boats, and preparing for a busy fishing season. For months, fishermen faced slow days at sea with little to no catch. However, signs of a promising fishing season have rekindled their hopes. Many have purchased new nets from the market and are working tirelessly to prepare them for nighttime fishing trips.
