Many associate childhood memories with the joy of playing with discarded tires from trucks, rickshaws, or vans. Guided by a stick, the rolling tire became a simple yet exhilarating “vehicle” of imagination.

But in today’s fast-paced urban life, such carefree joys are fading away. Urban children, confined by limited open spaces and immersed in digital devices, often miss out on outdoor fun.

In contrast, rural children still revel in the simplicity of play, running and laughing with friends under the open sky.

In a small village along Cox’s Bazar’s Marine Drive, the timeless image of a child playing with a tire was spotted—proof that some forms of childhood joy still survive in simpler settings.
