A health rally and awareness campaign were held in Cox’s Bazar to observe World Hypertension Day, with the theme “Measure Your Blood Pressure Accurately, Control It, Live Longer.”
The event took place yesterday at the Khurushkul Gazi’r Deil Community Clinic premises. It was organized by the Office of the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, with support from JICA’s Health-2 Project and several local NGOs.
Officials from the Civil Surgeon’s Office and Upazila Safe Food Officer Jaharlal Pal attended the event.
During the campaign, health educators provided the public practical guidance on managing high blood pressure, focusing on healthy dietary habits and lifestyle changes to reduce risks and promote long-term wellness.
