Even without a weekend or public holiday, Cox’s Bazar sea beach saw an overwhelming crowd on Wednesday evening, with thousands of tourists and locals thronging the Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni points. The vast shoreline turned lively with footsteps, laughter, and the vibrant energy of visitors.

Laboni Point, in particular, drew the most significant gathering, where residents came with their families to spend leisure time. Children were seen playing along the sand, while elders engaged in conversations, all against the backdrop of the sky’s shifting hues—creating a captivating atmosphere.

As evening approached, the golden tint of the sky added an extra charm, prompting many to capture the moment on their mobile cameras. Several visitors said they come to the beach to escape the bustle of daily life and enjoy a moment of peace by the sea.

Local vendors, too, benefited from the rush. From fresh coconuts, colorful balloons, and roasted corn to spicy chotpoti and fuchka, small businesses thrived amid the crowd.

Overall, even on a regular weekday, Cox’s Bazar beach turned into a festive gathering—reflecting the enduring love locals and tourists alike hold for the world’s longest sea beach.
