In an effort to resolve ongoing unrest among teachers working in the Rohingya camps, the Cox’s Bazar district administration organized a stakeholder meeting on Thursday morning.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salah Uddin chaired the meeting, which took place in the conference room of his office.

“We are committed to resolving the teachers’ concerns and other issues in the Rohingya camps through sincere dialogue and collaborative effort,” said the Deputy Commissioner during the discussion.

Among the participants were Additional District Magistrate Shahidul Alam, former Ukhiya Upazila Chairman Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, student representative Jinia Sharmin Riya, as well as officials from various government and non-government agencies, political leaders, and affected teachers.

The meeting featured extensive discussions on the challenges, demands, and potential solutions concerning teachers engaged in education programs within the camps. The administration emphasized its willingness to work inclusively to ensure a stable and effective learning environment for Rohingya students.
