The shallow waters of the beach flats trap small marine fish during low tide. Each morning, local villagers set up nets in these pools to catch them. Fishermen say the receding seawater leaves behind plenty of small fish, which they catch to support their families. This daily activity provides them with extra income and supplies the local markets with fresh small marine fish.
