A soothing stretch of greenery now blankets the coastal areas of Reju Khal and North Goalia village in Ramu upazila of Cox’s Bazar, offering a striking rural landscape. Rows of coconut and betel nut trees stand alongside vast agricultural fields where young green paddy plants sway gently in the breeze, creating a vibrant natural scene across the coast.

From morning until evening, farmers can be seen moving along the village paths as part of their daily routine. Some remain busy tending the paddy fields, while others work on irrigation, weed removal, or crop checks. The current paddy cultivation season has brought renewed activity to the coastal farmland.

Local farmer Abdul Hamid said favourable weather conditions this season have helped the paddy plants grow well. “If we can continue proper care, we hope to achieve a good harvest,” he said, adding that farmers are spending long hours in the fields every day.

The lush scenery of North Goalia village and the Reju Khal coast is also attracting the attention of locals and passers-by alike. The calm, natural surroundings, green paddy fields, and rows of coconut and betel nut trees together create a picturesque example of rural beauty along the coast.
