A three-day workshop on ‘Music Performance Techniques’, organized by the Training Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, concluded today in Cox’s Bazar.

The closing and certificate distribution ceremony was held at 7 PM at the Cox’s Bazar Cultural Centre, with Md. Shahidul Alam, Additional District Magistrate of Cox’s Bazar, attended as the chief guest.

The event was presided over by S.M. Shamim Akhtar, Deputy Director of the Training Department of the Academy. Notable guests included Ithun Babu, lyricist, composer, and music director, who served as the chief trainer of the workshop, and Mong Ness La, Director of the Cox’s Bazar Cultural Centre.

The workshop, which began on June 24, featured 17 trainees who received hands-on guidance on enhancing their stage performance and technical skills in music delivery.

At the closing ceremony, the guests presented certificates to the participants, marking the successful completion of the workshop and encouraging them to continue contributing actively to the country’s music and cultural scene.
