Nestled along Cox’s Bazar–Teknaf Marine Drive, near the Himchhari and Rejukhal bridge junction, Pechhar Dwip has long intrigued visitors.

Despite its name, it is not actually an island—but rather a mesmerizing stretch of road wrapped in natural beauty.

Locals say the place popularly known as Pechhar Dwip is, in fact, the route leading toward the village of Goalia Palong.

The area captivates travelers with its harmonious blend of rolling hills, flowing streams, and lush greenery.

As one travels along the Pechhar Dwip–Goalia road, the soothing shade of the hills and the tree-lined path create a picturesque scene that feels alive—almost as if nature itself is conversing with the visitors.

The nearby Rejukhal and other canals add a touch of vitality to this tranquil setting.

Being close to the sea, Pechhar Dwip also attracts many tourists who come to watch the sunset by the beach, enjoy a boat ride, or lose themselves in the serene stillness of the landscape.
