Mohammad Manjurul Alam, a resident of West Sonarpara village in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, sits by the river meticulously preparing his fishing nets. These nets are primarily used for catching fish in small streams and water bodies. During high tide, these narrow waterways become teeming with small fish, offering a bountiful harvest for local fishermen like Manjurul.
