Rohingya women and men living in refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar are expressing stories of their lives, trauma and social awareness messages through paintings on canvases and walls. Recently, a group of Rohingya artists was seen working on murals at Darut Tawhid Islamia Girls Dakhil Madrasa in Nayapara village of Hwaikong Union, Teknaf. Kunsun Nahar said they were carrying out the work with support from Artolution. The colourful murals now convey messages of social awareness across the school walls.
