Local fishermen were seen catching fish in the South Goalia stretch of the Rejukhal. Fisherman Nabiul Hossain said the water level drops during winter, leading to a noticeable decline in fish availability. “We depend entirely on fishing in this river for our livelihood,” he shared. “But with the water receding, we’re not getting fish like before. Still, we keep trying — this is our only way to survive.”
