Preparations for the fourth edition of the popular cricket tournament in Cox’s Bazar, the FFG Champions Trophy 2026, have been completed. Players have been urged to complete their registration by April 5, 2026, to participate in the tournament.
According to the organizers, a list of selected bowlers, batters, and all-rounders from various upazilas of the district has been published. The list includes players from Teknaf, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar Sadar, Chakaria, and Maheshkhali.
The bowling category features players such as Sohel Junior and Farhad from Teknaf; Mohammad Yasin from Hnila; Samir and Opi; Ridowan and Tahlil from Ukhiya; and Ifti, Imon, and Nafis Khan from Cox’s Bazar, among others.
The batting category includes players such as Jagir Hossain, Sohel Arman, Saad Uddin, and Rased Kala from Teknaf, as well as Mahin, Shahin, Modasser, and Zisan Haider from Cox’s Bazar, representing different regions.
In the all-rounder category, players such as Rashed Arman from Teknaf, Shamsu and Jahidul Haque from Hnila, and Junaed, Abchar Nahi, Raihan, and Imran from Cox’s Bazar have been listed.
The organizing committee has set the registration fee at Tk 1,000 for each player. Only registered players will be eligible to participate in the tournament. However, if a registered player is not finally selected for a team, the registration fee will be refunded.
Organizers expect this edition of the tournament to draw significant enthusiasm among cricket lovers in Cox’s Bazar.
